Dr.
Annan, who practiced under her maiden name, graduated from Loyola University Medical School in 1942, one of only two women her class. "She was very proud of that," said her daughter, Kathleen Bork. "She was very independent, very strong. That set the course for her entire life." After graduating, she served her internship at Milwaukee County Hospital and residencies at the Mayo Clinic and Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital. In 1944, she married Dr.
Cornelius Murray Annan, whom she had met in medical school. Retired Chicago principal Jeanne By Kenan Heise TRIBUNE STAFF WRITER Jeanne M. Kehoe, 66, a retired Chicago public elementary school principal, served in the 1960s as director of the Teachers Corps, a program that used federal grants to help teachers in the classroom. Miss Kehoe also was active as a community volunteer. A resident of the Near South Side, she died Saturday at a friend's home in Blue Island.
"She was a catalyst, always planning things and always on the move," said Lillian Bowden, a friend. "She was consistently the first to visit someone in a nursing home, to extend herself. We lived in a building that houses many older persons. She was forever checking to see whether any- After working three years as pediatrician for the University of Chicago Lab Schools, Dr. Annan decided to stay home and raise a family in Chicago.
When her children grew up, she returned to medicine. She joined the Chicago Board of Health in 1967, working with high-risk infants at board clinics from 1967 until her retirement in 1979. She was the Illinois Medical boy year for 50 ceongret, years of service to the medical community. In addition to her daughter, Dr. Annan is survived by daughter Mary Frances Scott and two grandchildren.

She was an avid bridge player and played in tournaments. There were no immediate survivors.
