Today, my Clinical Informatics Team had their first Team Development/Team Building Day for 2023. We had an amazing time coming together learning more about each other, both personally and professionally. Our theme for the day was 'Why we do what we do,' focusing on values, meaningful work and patient-centered care. Thank you to the American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA) for another wonderful conference. I am happy I was able to contribute and share my knowledge as a Poster Presenter this year as well. I am sooooo happy to share that I am now a newly certified Nurse Executive, Advanced leader (NEA-BC).This was not a goal I had but was encouraged to do it by my friend and colleague LaToya Lockett, DNP, MHA/MBA, RN, NEA-BC, TCRN, CEN for professional growth (good peer pressure 😂). With moving & starting a new job, I barely had time to study and in 3 weeks I did what I could to prepare before the deadline to test. I am so proud of myself and learned a lot in the process. Yay me!! 🎊🎉
