Elden Ring: Where To Find All Evergaols (2024)

Elden Ring is a massive open-world game with tons of secret locations and items to find. Figuring out where to go can be extremely difficult due to both the size of the game's world and the extreme difficulty associated with combat and exploration.

One reliable way to find powerful loot is to conquer the many Evergaols found throughout the world. Evergaols act as a holding cell for some of the game's toughest enemies. Each Evergaol challenges the player's skill, pitting them against these foes in a battle to the death.

Forlorn Hound Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Bloodhound Knight Darriwil
• Loot: Bloodhound's Fang

The Forlorn Hound Evergaol can be found just south of the Agheel Lake Site of Grace in southern Limgrave. Inside this Evergaol, players will encounter Bloodhound Knight Darriwil. This boss can be tough, but players will be rewarded with the very powerful Bloodhound's Fang weapon upon its defeat.

Weeping Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Ancient Hero of Zamor (Weeping Peninsula)
• Loot: Radagon's Scarseal

The Weeping Evergaol can be located just to the east of the Fourth Church of Marika in the Weeping Peninsula. Inside this Evergaol is the Ancient Hero of Zamor, which can really give players a challenge in the early game. The reward for successfully completing the Evergaol is Radagon's Scarseal (a useful Talisman). This Evergaol does require players to have a Stonesword Key to enter.

Stormhill Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Crucible Knight
• Loot: Aspects of the Crucible Tail

The Stormhill Evergaol is located just south of the Stormhill Shack in Limgrave. Players will face off against the Crucible Knight in this Evergaol. The reward in the dungeon is an Incantation called Aspects of the Crucible Tail. This is likely one of the first Evergaols players will come across, but it should not be underestimated.

Sellia Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Battlemage Hugues
• Loot: Battlemage Hugues Ashes

There are a couple of Evergaols that will reward players with Spirit Ashes, and the Sellia Evergaol is one of them. This Evergaol is located near Caelid's Abandonded Cave and will force players to fight Battlemage Hugues. Once defeated, players will receive the Spirit Ash for the Battlemage so they can summon him to fight by their side.

Malefactor's Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Adan, Thief of Fire
• Loot: Flame of the Fell God

Malefactor's Evergaol can be discovered soon after players have completed Stormveil Castle, which means they have already gotten one of the game's major bosses out of the way. Even so, Adan, Thief of Fire is the boss of this Evergaol, and he can present players with a difficult battle. The prize for his defeat is the Flame of the Fell God Incantation.

Ringleader's Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader
• Loot: Black Knife Tiche Ashes

Ringleader's Evergaol can only be accessed by progressing in Ranni's Questline, which means it will likely be encountered well into the game. This Evergaol gives players one of the toughest boss battles in the game, as Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader has fast reaction times and packs a real punch in combat. The reward for completion is one of the best Spirit Ashes in the game, the Black Knife Tiche.

Cuckoo's Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Bols, Carian Knight
• Loot: Greatblade Phalanx

Cuckoo's Evergaol can be found just south of The Four Belfries Site of Grace in Liurnia. Players will have to face off against Bols, Carian Knight to complete this Evergaol and will be rewarded with the Greatblade Phalanx, a great weapon in the early game.

Royal Grave Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Alabaster Lord (Royal Grave Evergaol)
• Loot: Meteorite

The Royal Grave Evergaol is located near Caria Manor in northern Liurnia. Players will fight the Alabaster Lord in this Evergaol, and the reward will be Meteorite, a useful Sorcery. To get to this Evergaol, players need to fight their way through the Manor which can be very difficult, so they should come prepared.

Golden Lineage Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Godefroy the Grafted
• Loot: Godfrey Icon

Players will have to reface a boss-level enemy, Godefroy the Grafted, in the Golden Lineage Evergaol. This fight can be a tough one, but players will receive the Godfrey Icon, an extremely helpful Talisman, when he is defeated. The Evergaol is located in Atlus Plateau near the Grand Lift of Dectus.

Lord Contender's Evergaol

• Evergaol Boss: Festering Fingerprint Vyke
• Loot: Fingerprint Set & Vyke's Dragonbolt

Lord Contender's Evergaol is located far to the north in the Mountaintop of the Giants. This is likely to be the final Evergaol that players find, but the boss, Festering Fingerprint Vyke, can still pose a serious threat. Players will get a nice bounty of loot when the Evergaol is completed: the Fingerprint Armor Set and Vyke's Dragonbolt Incantation.
