The University of California, Davis, in Northern California, one of the nation’s leading research institutions, is seeking an Acute Care and Emergency Department Imaging Radiologist for a nationally renowned academic medical center in Sacramento. Part of a well-established department, the ED Radiologist will work in a Level I Trauma Center and be the face of the Radiology Department, working with ED physicians and surgeons. The Department and the Medical Center have a strong commitment to academic and clinical career development and excellence. This individual will participate in clinical radiology and teaching of residents and fellows. UC Davis is committed to underserved and vulnerable patient populations.
Opportunity Highlights
Excellent quality of life – 7 on/7 off evening schedule that will be from 5 PM – 11 PM
Call is also available outside of shifts for additional revenue opportunities
Work with top residents from around the country who share the caseload and supervise and teach residents and fellows
Read a high volume of sub-specialty cases in neuroradiology or abdominal imaging to align with preference and training
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with all radiological divisions and ancillary surgical services
Level I Trauma Center with interesting, diverse cases (4th largest trauma center in the nation)
Research opportunities if desired
