Nintendo in the latest firmware update for the Nintendo Switch removedintegration for Twitter on the console.
The option to "Post to Twitter" and to link a Twitter account have been removed from the Nintendo Switch.
PlayStationand Xbox ended support for Twitter last year. This follows Twitter charging company nearly $40,000 more per month to access Twitter's API, which is needed for integration.

Ver. 18.1.0 (Released June 10, 2024)
- The following updates were made for thediscontinuation of X (formerly Twitter) integration:
- The option to “Post to Twitter” when sharing from theAlbumin the Nintendo SwitchHOME Menuwas removed.
- The ability to post Super Smash Bros. Ultimate screenshots from theAlbumin the Nintendo SwitchHOME Menuu to Smash World in the Nintendo Switch Online smart device app was removed.
- The option to link X (formerly Twitter) from “Settings” > “User Settings” > “Posting to Social Media” was removed.
- The option to link social media accounts from “My Page” > “Friend Suggestions” was removed.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.

I understand where you are coming from, and i respect that. But that argument falls flat when u take into consideration the amount of cases in history where people who came from very affluent families lost it all due to poor judgement when managing their riches (e.g the later Vanderbilts). I'm not dumb i know external factors play an important role when determining the future of a person, but I feel people tends to subconsciously paint a bleak, hopeless picture for their lives when they underestimate the amount of effort that people who they conventionally percieve as succesful actually put to be in that position, by thinking of it as a product of mere luck.
Actually, i see a parallel of that as to how we percieve politicians as a bunch of idiots that don't know what they are doing (they know exactly what they are doing)

man, I have to agree. that Twitter support really made a difference in how well the Switch played games! Nintendo was STRUGGLING to juggle all these balls!! But good thing they’ve gotten rid of it. Now Nintendo can focus a lot more on the gaming part of Switch. :)
